01Confirm the applicable standard

Check the required API, ASTM, ASME, DIN, EN, JIS, GB or GOST standard and edition against the project documents.

02Confirm material and dimensions

Specify the material grade, nominal size, wall thickness or pressure class, connection and surface treatment.

03Confirm the supply scope

Provide the quantity, packing, inspection and documentation requirements, destination and required delivery date.

International standard designations, grades, dimensions and units are retained. Final supply parameters are governed by the NOVUS documents confirmed by both parties.

A PE fitting must match the pipe compound, outside diameter, SDR, service standard and jointing process. Butt-fusion or electrofusion quality depends on suitable equipment, surface preparation, time/temperature parameters, restraint and traceable installation records; the fitting alone cannot assure field-joint quality.

  • Confirm service standard, PE grade, outside diameter, SDR, exact fitting type, fusion system/parameters, mating flange drilling or transition end, pressure-temperature conditions and approval requirements.

Inspection and documentation

  • Check appearance, dimensions, marking, compound batch and supplied documents against the confirmed product standard.
  • Fusion records, joint inspection and system pressure testing are included only when required by the project; responsibility must be defined in the order.

Packing and delivery

  • Protect against cuts, flattening, excessive bending, heat sources and prolonged unprotected UV exposure; keep ends clean and protected.
  • Agree coils/straight lengths, stacking, end protection, labels and transport restraint for the size, temperature and route.
