01Confirm the applicable standard

Check the required API, ASTM, ASME, DIN, EN, JIS, GB or GOST standard and edition against the project documents.

02Confirm material and dimensions

Specify the material grade, nominal size, wall thickness or pressure class, connection and surface treatment.

03Confirm the supply scope

Provide the quantity, packing, inspection and documentation requirements, destination and required delivery date.

Specifications, applications and product images

International standard designations, grades, dimensions and units are retained. Final supply parameters are governed by the NOVUS documents confirmed by both parties.

A fabricated structural component may combine sections, plate, connection plates, welds and bolt holes to an approved drawing. Capacity is determined by the complete structural design; materials, geometry, connections, welding, fabrication tolerances and corrosion system must follow the approved drawings and specification.

Critical selection points

  • Submit approved drawings/BOM, design code, grades, dimensions and tolerances, welding and NDT requirements, holes/connections, surface treatment, marking, trial assembly and documentation scope.

Inspection and documentation

  • Check appearance, dimensions, marking, quantity and documents against the mutually confirmed purchase specification.
  • Chemical, mechanical, pressure/leak, NDT, PMI or third-party inspection is performed only when required by the applicable standard or order; none should be assumed by default.

Packing and delivery

  • Agree moisture, corrosion, impact and end protection for the product geometry, mass, finish and transport route. A timber case or fixed container tonnage is not assumed.
  • Confirm labels, quantities, bundling/pallet method, lifting points and destination requirements in the order.

  1. Applicable standard, edition and project amendments
  2. Material grade, product form and required material documents
  3. Applicable NPS/DN/OD, wall/Schedule/SDR and Class/PN data
  4. Ends, joint, facing, coating or machining requirements
  5. Fluid, design pressure, design temperature and corrosion conditions
  6. Quantity, unit, packing, destination and required delivery date
  7. Inspection, testing, NDT, third-party witness and documentation requirements
