NOVUS TECHNICAL DATA
Specifications, applications and product images
International standard designations, grades, dimensions and units are retained. Final supply parameters are governed by the NOVUS documents confirmed by both parties.
The tapered hub of a weld-neck flange transfers pipe-end loads gradually into the flange, while the butt weld forms a permanent connection to the pipe. Joint tightness depends on compatible facings, gasket, bolting, alignment and assembly load. A flange is not a valve and does not shut off the line.

Typical uses (project confirmation required)
- Flanged equipment, valve and pipe connections defined by the piping class.
- Bolted joints requiring maintenance access; isolate and depressurise before opening.
Critical selection points
- Confirm the standard and edition, NPS/DN, Class/PN, material group, bore or matching pipe wall, facing, weld end, gasket and bolting, plus design pressure and temperature.
Inspection and documentation
- Check appearance, dimensions, marking, quantity and documents against the mutually confirmed purchase specification.
- Chemical, mechanical, pressure/leak, NDT, PMI or third-party inspection is performed only when required by the applicable standard or order; none should be assumed by default.
Packing and delivery
- Agree moisture, corrosion, impact and end protection for the product geometry, mass, finish and transport route. A timber case or fixed container tonnage is not assumed.
- Confirm labels, quantities, bundling/pallet method, lifting points and destination requirements in the order.
Confirm with the RFQ
- Applicable standard, edition and project amendments
- Material grade, product form and required material documents
- Applicable NPS/DN/OD, wall/Schedule/SDR and Class/PN data
- Ends, joint, facing, coating or machining requirements
- Fluid, design pressure, design temperature and corrosion conditions
