Specifications, applications and product images
International standard designations, grades, dimensions and units are retained. Final supply parameters are governed by the NOVUS documents confirmed by both parties.
Socket-weld and threaded flanges use different pipe ends and assembly methods. Socket gap and fillet weld, or thread form and engagement, must follow the standard and project procedure. The two types are not interchangeable and must not be substituted by appearance.

Typical uses (project confirmation required)
- Small-bore branches and equipment connections permitted by the piping class.
- Flanged joints requiring a specified socket-weld or threaded end.
Critical selection points
- Confirm flange type, standard, size, Class/PN, material, socket bore or thread form, facing, matching pipe end, gasket and bolting.
Inspection and documentation
- Check appearance, dimensions, marking, quantity and documents against the mutually confirmed purchase specification.
- Chemical, mechanical, pressure/leak, NDT, PMI or third-party inspection is performed only when required by the applicable standard or order; none should be assumed by default.
Packing and delivery
- Agree moisture, corrosion, impact and end protection for the product geometry, mass, finish and transport route. A timber case or fixed container tonnage is not assumed.
- Confirm labels, quantities, bundling/pallet method, lifting points and destination requirements in the order.
Confirm with the RFQ
- Applicable standard, edition and project amendments
- Material grade, product form and required material documents
- Applicable NPS/DN/OD, wall/Schedule/SDR and Class/PN data
- Ends, joint, facing, coating or machining requirements
- Fluid, design pressure, design temperature and corrosion conditions
- Quantity, unit, packing, destination and required delivery date
- Inspection, testing, NDT, third-party witness and documentation requirements
